Every year, HTEC organizes a series of events in March to mark International Women’s Day. Our goal is to recognize female accomplishments, raise awareness about some of the challenges women face today, and empower them to disturb the status quo. To kick off this year’s series of events, we are organizing a panel discussion entitled Hack the Gender Gap: AI for All on March 15 at 4 PM (GMT+1 / CET).
The panel will turn the spotlight on AI: how does it impact our daily lives? What are the benefits and challenges it brings? We will put a special emphasis on the latter and thoroughly explore the issue of gender bias in AI. Where does it come from? Does it simply reflect real-life bias, or does it create and amplify it? And, most importantly, what can we do to restore balance?
The panel will feature accomplished female professionals that have made a strong impact in the tech landscape.
