About the project

A solid brand identity is key. Not only does it lead to a recognizable look and feel, but it also broadens the audience and user base. Nasdaq Private Market approached Momentum Design Lab, an HTEC Group Company, to revamp their website and brand identity by establishing a Brand System and expanding the solution across their digital ecosystem.

As a result, the institutional-grade and centralized secondary venue for stock transactions transformed the user experience, allowing companies, brokers, shareholders, and prospective investors to manage their private stock transactions through a single platform.

Challenge

On a quest towards a new brand identity, Nasdaq Private Market reached out to Momentum to develop a solid strategy, centralize their offering, and create an intuitive experience for the introduction process. This challenge also involved the development of brand/product principles to drive the brand identity, storytelling, and the UX/UI experience across the client’s digital channels.

Solution

The brand strategy we created addressed the client’s challenges and pain points while uncovering key improvement opportunities. As a result, Momentum simulated the ideal user journey and mapped out the actions needed to maximize the overall experience. They also uncovered the unique needs of each user further and guided them toward the end goal—whether purchasing new stocks or tracking existing ones.

Success

Although initially Nasdaq Private Market only sought a rebranded website, what emerged from our collaboration was a whole brand experience, enveloping a new brand identity and strategy, as well as a Brand System Guide. The strategy and guide became the basis of the client’s visual representation, ensuring current and future design and brand elements remain aligned with the highest standards.

Furthermore, once all of the brand elements were unified, Momentum collaborated further to develop their email campaign design and copy development, lead generation, and the supporting social strategy. What resulted was a fully rounded, user-friendly, marketable service.
