Tech Forward Webinar: Principles of clean architecture with .NET 5 and ASP.NET Core

In the latest edition of our Tech Forward Webinar series, HTEC .NET engineer Milan Jovanović discussed clean architecture and its implementation in the context of .NET 5 and ASP.NET Core.

In his presentation, Milan highlighted the key benefits of adhering to the principles of clean architecture, such as independence from the database and the user interface, and increased testability.

He then dove into specific software development practices in .NET 5 and ASP.NET Core that enable clean architecture and, as Milan puts it, “make it easier to do the right thing and harder to do the wrong thing.”

The presentation was accompanied by a short demo illustrating the practical implementation of clean architecture. After the presentation, Milan was joined by fellow .NET developer and technical lead Marko Krstić, and our chief of growth, Niko Slavnić, for a lively Q&A session.

Watch the video.

With well over 1,000 people tuning in to hear Milan’s talk, this was our biggest webinar to date. The outpouring of questions in the Q&A session was a credit to both the relevance of the subject matter and Milan’s expertise.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the enthusiasm of everyone who attended the webinar, especially in the Q&A section. The questions I received were amazing and really pushed me to analyze the topic from different angles to come up with good answers. It was a humbling experience, and I hope everyone who attended got at least some value from the webinar.”
